The Vatican is Damning It’s Pedophile Priests to Hell?

VATICAN CITY - a monument to religious exploitation and corruption

The Vatican’s Prosecutor for Clerical Sex Abuse had the utter temerity to announce that it’s pedophile priests will suffer eternal damnation in Hell for their sins.

It’s time the Vatican look in the mirror, if they want to talk about eternal damnation.  Besides, the Pope already vicariously damned humanity some ten years ago in his declaration titled DOMINUS IESUS.  Does he not now possess the spiritual courage to turn his own judgment upon himself?

Any mea culpa (apology) forthcoming – and rumors have it that the Pope is preparing one - should best fall on deaf ears.  It would be like O.J. Simpson admitting today that he murdered his wife.  We can choose to forgive.  But in situations like these, we should never forget who offered the apology; sociopathological humans are only interested in preserving their own well-being – most often to the detriment of all others.

Want further proof?  Here is another Vatican document from 2000, that serves to underscore the hypocrisy of these men and their institution – the INTERVENTION BY THE HOLY SEE DELEGATION AT THE II CONFERENCE ON THE COMMERCIAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN

It’s so pathetic, you are not sure whether to laugh or cry.  Brace yourself.  Here are some select quotes from that document:

Children are by nature lovely, innocent, and trusting of adults, yet some of them are today increasingly robbed of their very childhood . . . [they] are never consenting sexual partners; they are always victims.  The Convention on the Rights of the Child underlines this fact: the best interest of the child is always the key.”  (So why did you bury these allegations on at least one occasion, stating that “the good of the universal church” was an important consideration - as in more important than the best interest of children)?

“Sexual abuse is evil, a criminal act, and punishable.”  (So why didn’t you affirm this universally-accepted principle over the past fifty years, by ordering the clergy to immediately report any allegations of sexual abuse of children by your priests to legal authorities)?

“We must gather much more political will to combat these crimes against our weakest, and we must strengthen both international law, instruments of extradition and extra-territoriality.”  (One must then conclude that Jeffrey Lena, the U.S. lawyer representing the Pope and The Vatican, has not been apprised of this position given that he has raised the doctrine of sovereign immunity as a defense against any and all legal liability in the matter of John V. Doe v. The Holy See)?

Once we see human beings as objects, once we forget that they have been created by God with an unalienable dignity, they can simply be used and abused. Sexual abuse of children is the logical extreme of such a view of the human being.  (So after intentionally objectifying human beings for over one thousand years in furtherance of it’s agenda to wield spiritual power over mankind, and for its own financial gain, we should not be surprised that The Vatican’s tolereance of the sexual abuse of children by its own clergy was a “logical extension” of that view?  That actually makes perfect sense in this context.)

“We must foster . . . ‘the reinforcement of positive cultural, religious and moral values and practices, which protect and promote the rights and the dignity of both girls and boys’.”  (So where were those values and practices for the past one thousand years)?

Memo to the Pope and the Vatican:  Some human beings have now expressly decided to eat from the fruit of the tree of knowledge.  In our quest, we have awakened to the understanding that it is high time for the viper to slither down from the apple tree, and crawl back under the rock from whence it came.

Metaphorically speaking, the Devil’s identity has been sufficiently revealed.

It’s time for you to go (back) to Hell . . . forever.

Pope Benedict: You May Have Damned All Mankind

Dantes Inferno [1]

DEPICTION OF DANTE’S INFERNO (HELL)

Unfortunately, this post is not some bad April Fools Day joke.

The Pope has now been implicated in the global sex abuse scandal that the Catholic Church has become deeply embroiled in these past few months.  And the list of these scandals grows larger as time goes on.

This author first wrote about the developing scandal in Ireland back in December of 2009 – noting the dissonance between the Pope’s willful ignorance of that problem, coupled with his ostensibly “deep concern for Christian and Family Values.”  It was all to obvious to me at that time that this blatent hipocrasy which revolves around the Pope – pun intended - might develop into the final stake in the heart of the single most corrupt institution on the face of the earth.

The scope and depth of this issue is finally coming to light, and the Vatican is beyond criminally culpable – just look at this recently-uncovered secret Vatican document from 1960, wherein the Church explicitly instructed all Bishops around the world to cover-up the ongoing child sex abuse cases, or face excommunication.  This is explosive evidence of an ongoing international criminal conspiracy dating back 50 years.

However, the highest moral crime committed by the Church was that the victims and their families were also threatened with excommunication if they revealed anything.  It’s right there in black and white – these are the official words of the Vatican.  For that alone, there should be a very special place reserved in Hell for all of them.

Unfortunately, the Vatican’s legal status as a sovereign state gives it absolute immunity from prosecution or civil suitsSovereign Immunity is a legal concept granted to nations – and their diplomats – that shield them from criminal liability.  It should come as no surprise that the Church has been granted this extraordinary legal status, given the fact that it is the most powerful non-govermental institution on the face of the earth.  That is how the Vatican has been able to shamefully protect former American Cardinal Bernard Law from extradition back the United States to testify before a Grand Jury in Massachusetts regarding his participation in the decades-long cover-up in this country.

Now even the Pope is invoking immunity under the same doctrine.  However, I’ve got news for you, Pope – that WILL NOT  protect you when it’s time to meet your maker.

What is even more incredulous is that fact that the Pontiff and his pathetic minions inside the Vatican are denying that he had any knowledge of a memo authored from his office regarding re-assignment of a pedophile priest during his tenure as Archbishop of Munich from 1977-1982.   Moreover, his unbelievable claims that he was not aware of the monumental scope of this problem is betrayed by the fact that he served as the Vatican’s chief doctrinal official from 1982 until his election as pope in 2005 – during that 23 year stretch of time, it was his responsibility to oversee all priest pedophilia claims anywhere in the world.

Even Cardinal Sean Brady, head of the Irish Catholic Church, initially denied any responsibility in that scandal and refused to resign – despite the most damning evidence to the contrary.  Here is his unconscionable rationalization for not taking any action when confronted with the evidence:

I felt I did my duty, the duty that was assigned to me by my bishop. It’s not fair to judge actions of 35 years ago by the standards we are following today . . . Thirty-five years ago we were in a different world. We had no guidance, we were in uncharted territory.”

Let me get this straight:  you knew that one of your priests was screwing 10 year old boys in the ass 35 years ago, but you did not say anything about it because “things were different back then”?

In fact, a priest that has been accused of molestations in Germany now has the audacity to claim that priests should be supervised by other priests to ensure they do not engage in sexual deviant behaviors with children.  WTF?  You are now excusing your behavior by saying “well, it would have never happened if someone had been monitoring me”?

Are we finally getting the picture here?  These pedophile priests, as well as those who have harbored and protected them, are ALL a waste of human skin.  And the Catholic Church’s behavior these last 1000 years has given no doubt that it’s sole purpose was to use it’s power and authority to spiritually imprison countless souls for it’s own narcissistic ends.

One apologist tried to deflect criticism of the Church, stating that ”This is far from being just about the Church: 80 to 90 percent of the cases happen in families.”  In other words, well they do it more than we do.  Notwithstanding that reprehensible “whitewashing” job, the “stench of evil”regarding the Pope’s career, as Christopher Hitchens so eloquently stated it, is both beyond palpable, as well as indefensible.

In the final analysis, the most paraxoical aspect to all of this is ironically divined from Article 1 of the Catholic Church’s Code of Canon Law:

“The Roman Pontiff . . . is the Vicar of Christ . . . ”

Under the Church’s interpretation of the Code of Canon Law, the Vicar of Christ is Jesus’ substitute here on earth – defined by serving as ” . . . someone who is authorized to act as a substitute or agent for a superior - compare ‘vicarious‘—serving in the place of someone else.”  If this man is Christ’s agent, what does that say about Jesus Christ or God?  I can already hear the rationalizations for this one . . . the same one’s that have been offered, ad nauseum, for 2000 years.

While serving as the Vatican Prefect [Cardinal Joeseph Ratzinger], on September 5, 2000, The Pope authored a document referred to as “Dominus Iesus“.  In that decree, he unabashedly declared that the Catholic Church was the sole “instrument for the salvation of humanity.”

IF that is true, with one swift stroke of the pen, the Pope damned all mankind.

The Vatican is Deeply Concerned About Basic Christian and Family Values?

sex abuse scandal

A senior Vatican official was recently quoted as saying that ‘There is growing alarm within the Vatican and especially the Holy Father that not enough prominence is being given to basic Christian and family values by governments.”

Really?

So now the headlines reveal another clergy sex scandal developing in Ireland where it appears the cover-up has been going on for over 30 years.  The Pope says he is “deeply disturbed and distressed” by this report – which is code for  ”The Vatican is circling the wagons, and engaging in damage control on a scale similar to Tiger Woods’ legal team.”  What the Vatican is banking on is that Tiger was banging on far more sluts than the number of ten year old boys the Irish Clergy were buggering.

You see, these sex scandals are all relative in this day and age – even the Catholic Church understands that boys and girls can be sacrificed on the alter of indifference in order to preserve the reputation and sanctity of their holy institution.  In one instance, an Irish Bishop recently lied on television, stating that The Church had previously informed civil authorities about a priest who was known to have raped two little girls in his diocese, when in fact the Bishop had intentionally covered-up the whole matter.  When the Bishop was asked about the circumstances regarding the handling of these allegations within his diocese, he stated that it has always been “tickedy-boo” – that’s slang for “just fine”.

Remember, back in 2002, the Vatican held a conference to address the issue of the sex abuse scandals that rocked the Catholic Church Dioceses in the United StatesDid the Church’s other dioceses around the world not get that memo?

Comedian Greg Giraldo probably has the most poignant commentary regarding the Catholic Church’s handling of the clergy sex-abuse problem in the U.S. at the beginning of this decade (and I paraphrase):

“The Catholic Church just held a two-day conference in Rome at the Vatican in order to address the clergy sex-abuse scandal.  What the Hell were they talking about for two days?  I could have done this in about 10 seconds . . . ‘HEY . . . no more F$%king 10 year old boys.  Any questions’?”

Memo to the Pope:  Let’s just say it like it is . . .

You have no concern for Christian or family values.  In fact, do not even pretend that you have any concern for the countless young boys and girls around the world who have been sexually assaulted by your minions the past 1000 years, and then summarily thrown under the proverbial bus.   The only thing you and your hypocritical predecessors have ever given a damn about is the church’s image.

I want to be buried with a fan and a bottle of Glenlivet scotch because I know where I am going when I die - I will be sitting on a bench in front of my fan, sipping on my scotch, watching from a front-row seat as you religious hypocrites burn, baby, burn for all your sins and iniquities.

Now you may ask, “How do you know they have electricity down there?”  I say, “How do you know they don’t?”

See you all in Hell.   :)

Bring your own ice.
